I don't like writing bad reviews but had the worst dining experience I've had in a restaurant in a very long time at Duffy's in Boca tonight. I've eaten there many times and sometimes the food is good, sometimes not quite as good, but tonight was a combination of such bad service, bad food, and even worse customer service I can do nothing else but write this review. Here is a summary: the service was bad-it took 10 minutes for the server to take our order even though she walked past our table several times and brought our beverages (she actually walked away after putting the beverages down even though we started telling her we were ready to order). The food then took over 20 minutes to come out (2 salads, 1 child order of chicken tenders) and my salad was wilted (probably from sitting around waiting). I sent the salad back and didn't order anything else. My friend asked the server to send the manager over-she came back about 5 minutes later and said my entrée would be removed from the bill but the manager didn't feel the need to come over. At that point in time all I wanted was to get out of there, which we did after paying the bill (the total was $13.77, we left a $5 tip). I won't be back, Duffy's is off my list of restaurants to visit for a very long time.

This is my first time at this location, and I have to say that I like the atmosphere here better than the one I visited before. Lighting was adequate but not too bright (drinking + bright lights = painful). Had a late lunch here with a friend while catching up on juicy life stories. The Reuben burger was huge. It tasted great but the bottom of the bun was pretty soggy when I tried to pick it up...I ended up chopping the entire thing into little pieces and eating it with a fork. Enjoyed the sauerkraut. Fries were hot and tasted decent. Friend's salad looked ok but the turkey sandwich looked good. It coincided with the 40% off afternoon break so that was nice, otherwise $12 for a burger would be a bit steep unless it was knock-your-socks-off amazing, which it wasn't. Pretty good, though.

Hadn't been here for awhile then tried today. I came with my disabled husband who is in a power chair. I didn't see a way in with a ramp to get around the stairs so I went in and asked the hostess. She told me it was on the side of the building. I moved our car to the side and saw a small sign for handicapped entrance. There was a wooden ramp leading to a small door. The whole scene was very uninviting. I opened the door and saw two large iced tea canisters and it looked tight. I wasn't clear where we were entering. I was peeved and didn't like the message it gave us. I got the message: the handicapped aren't welcome at Duffy's. We will go elsewhere since eating out is one of the few things we can do for entertainment. And there plenty of other choices where we are welcome and treated right.

First time for dinner. 20 minute wait for 2 on a Fri night. No problem. Seated indoors at a comfortable booth. Despite all the tvs the noise level was not bad. No problem carrying on a conversation. Excellent manager and server. Felt welcome from beginning to end. A bit confusing trying to figure out drink prices. Don't be afraid to ask. My wife's were 2 for $12 and mine were 2 for $6. Reason she had Bombay Sapphire Mahi and sides were fine as was the salmon and sides. 3 1/2 stars Will return on one of their many specialty nights..

I personally love this location, the food and service is great and consistent. I go here mainly for the UFC fights and I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Good sports bar themed restaurant. Food is pretty good and a decent crowd. I enjoy the 2 for 1 drinks and the points you earn every time you make a purchase.

I would never eat at this place again not at other Duffy but this location I had worst sever at ever had I I ordered a cheeseburger with mayo on the side just lettuce a glass of water bs a ice tea she came back with a glass of water with a couple pieces of ice in the glass and a ice tea with no ice in the glass then. Came the cheeseburger with no mayo no big deal I ask her can you bring me mayo on the side she said ok 15 minutes later no mayo ask a somebody else for mayo no mayo 5 more minutes I ask her again can I have mayo my food getting cold she finally bought the mayo my nobody refill my drinks yet she did it have finally I was so aggravated the bill came out to 1343 I just gave her 15 dollars I left she came running out to my car saying I just gave 11 dollars I said impossible I gave you a 10 and a five that was 15 I got no singles in my pocket did want make a fuss gave her 5 more dollars so not only I did not enjoy my meal but got ripped off

Pretty good food at this sports bar. Service was very good as well. My cousin and I then went to the bar to watch the NY Rangers game and they had the channel to watch it. I would go back when I visit Boca again.

After my first experience and review, I had contact with multiple members of Duffy's management who went out of their way to apologize. These employees showed genuine interest in getting me back into either the Boca Raton location or any other store that was convenient to me to prove that they could do a better job on communicatiing drink specials and make me a happy customer. I will give Duffy's that second chance because of the good people who invited me to do so.

Wings with spicy garlic sauce are fantastic!!!! I suggest you ask for extra garlic sauce and if you order the pork chops the sauce is amazing to dip. Ribs were great, not try, very tasty and fell off the bone. Fish and chips were huge!!!! Beer from the tap was cold but white wine was warm no matter which one we wanted, bartender dropped the ball on the new shipment, was not chilled....ribs came out cold had to send back....manager was notified, he came over and apologized and did the right thing....I am still giving it 4 stars b/c food was great....things happen, but as long as the establishment does the right thing to satisfy the customer then I feel the 4 stars is fair

As far as a Duffy's goes (and I've dined at quite a few) this location is great. The staff was welcoming and happy to have us there. When seated, the waitress was pleasant and helpful. The food was great - my dining companions both had the Tuesday Turkey special and I opted for the Black Bean Burger. Although the waitress accidentally switched my order, she made up for it immediately and apologized profusely. We dined during the lunch hour and it wasn't too busy, or loud. Very relaxing. We will be back!

My coworkers and I work in the same strip mall no matter how many times we order from them they don't get it right and they leave us waiting for ever. When we finally do get the food it's terrible! The orders either wrong or stale or just plain bad. We have given them more than enough chances, never going back
(1)James K.
We had a very enjoyable time. Our server did a Fantastic job. Atomic wings are great. Then the manager took her away for her review and we sat waiting for service for 10 min +. Really poor manager decision. If it were not for that I would have given 5 stars
(2)Chloe M.
I have mixed feelings about Duffy's. I love the ambiance especially to watch sports, but the food is just average. It feels like I am paying for food that doesn't taste at all. The service is good.
(3)Greg B.
Duffy's is a very serviceable option to watch sports on a lot of TVs, eat some okay food and drink cold beer. I've been to this particular location several times. On my most recent visit, I arrived with a group of three on a Thursday night. Service was good and the atmosphere was jovial. They have a lot of young servers, who do a good job and take pride in their job. I ordered Yuengling's (2-for-1) upon arrival. It was served cold and tasted good. Sometimes tap beer doesn't taste all that good, but I've never been disappointed with the draft beer at Duffy's. On this visit, I ordered the hot wings -- atomic. I like ordering the hot sauce on the side and then I dunk the wings in the sauce. It's a more efficient way to eat these things, which have the tendency to cause a mess. The wings are so-called award-winning, and I would agree. These are right up there with Bru's Room wings. These wings are breaded though. They're a little bit different than Bru's, but equally delicious. I also ordered some Onion Rings, which weren't all that good. They're smaller in size than at other restaurants. I'll be back at Duffy's because it's located in an ideal spot. I always seem to enjoy my visits here.
(3)Mike U.
Food is your ordinary bar fare. Nothing exciting to rave about and nothing really that stands out and grabs my attention to go back in a hurry...
(3)Rachel M.
Duffy's on a Saturday night... On my way to a gathering, thought wings would be a nice "hey, thanks for having us over" gesture and called in an order of wings 3 ways. Arrived twenty minutes later and still had a bit of a wait.. The wings were good. Traditional. Breaded. Custom. Not bad in a hurry but not the best wing place in the area...
(3)Issy S.
Food and service great. Reason we go here is for sports and the manager is no where to be found to control tvs...hence watching local news and walking out.
(3)Guil M.
Their management seems to have gotten better compared to a few years ago. I came here last night with a friend for some drinks and appetizers and the waiter was attentive (they used to have horrible service). Their food is still the same-- typical bar food with nothing special about it. For dessert, I do recommend their fried cheesecake with ice cream. It's so good! But make sure you share if because it probably has WAY too many calories. Make sure to get their M.V.P. card free-of-charge in order to receive some nice specials once in a while.

We have always loved Duffys, but went last night on a Monday when they have specials,we are MVP all star members got a high top in the crowded bar,my husband ordered the ribs with sweet potato fries,I ordered a well done strip steak ,with a plain baked potatoe with bacon and chives on the side in separate containers, the mail came my husbands looked right mine looked small considering I have had the same thing when its not a special but I was going to be ok with it until I cut into it and it was medium not well done like I asked,so i told the waitress and the plain baked potatoe had cheese and bacon on it ,so the waitress was nice and agreeded it wasnt the way we wanted it and also agreed it was much smaller then it should of been, she took it back and I felt at the time to drink my wine and would have some of my husbands sweet potato fries while I waited, unfortunately the fries were ice cold but we decided not to complain, the new steak came with the correct potatoe, the size was right also this time but unfortunately this steak was rarer then the last one(I always make a point when I order well done to say I will never complain that it is too cooked)this time we asked for the manager and told him the whole story and I am not sure if you are the one reading this but the comment was the first steak was small cause it shrunk because it was too well done the point was it wasnt well done it was red inside,he did get me another steak cooked right and comped the meal but his comment was rude and wrong we were not looking for a free meal and it wasnt enjoyable when the right steak came my husband had finished his meal and was ready to go home,I told him to please get a drink while I ate he is not a big drinker and didnt want the 2 happy hour drinks but likes the dolphin phinatic special for 5 dollars and u only get one not 2,so he ordered that while I ate my meal, the drink was red not blue like it always is but we didnt want to complain till the bill for the drink came and it was 10 dollars not 5 we questioned the waitress and was told they didnt have his drink anymore so we got a rum punch for happy hour 2 for 1 we said why didnt u tell us that when we orderd we only wanted one ,she did credit us the 5 dollars,we came home and decided we will never go back to Duffys Boca and maybe never Duffys again

This was my first visit to duffy's ... Dennis was our server who after taking a drink order processed to open each of our 4 wet naps with his teeth ( I was appalled. How disgusting) and then threw them on the table in each of our directions. Our water glasses were constantly empty, it took 45 minutes for our food to hit - I'm sure he forgot to place the order since when he was taking it he kept making mistakes and told us " sorry this is my Saturday " . I don't think that is an excuse . When we finally received our check I went to the store down the street while the rest of my party waited to pay and I came back over 10 minutes later and our credit cards still hasn't been run . At which point is handed it to a manager . The service was awful . Food was delicious however and the atmosphere is great!

Our absolute FAVORITE for a neighborhood dinner place!!! The managers, Paul and Ryan, are always evident throughout the restaurant and are constantly checking on tables to be certain that everything is perfect. Besides their constant attention to detail, they are also very personable and make dining at Duffy's a pleasant experience. When you get to Duffy's ask for Jamie at the bar and tell Paul and Ryan that John and Shel sent you!!!

Somehow this place just doesn't quite do it for me. It's a chain and perhaps I should be easier on it for that, but after two visits, I'm comfortable saying this just isn't my kind of sports bar. Atmosphere is more or less the big selling point here. There are lots of televisions in this place, more than a number of department stores. On the one hand it's fun to go and watch sporting events with a group here, but for me it's so overwhelming that it makes me dizzy. The only time you are not looking at a TV is when your eyes are on your plate. If you want to watch a game, by all means grab all your friends and visit this place for some beer and nachos, you'll have fun, but for me, I care more about the food. Again, a chain isn't always going to have great food, but aside from some nice baby back ribs that they have (which are good but a little too expensive for me), the edibles don't impress me. The nachos and wings I had for appetizers were nothing special. The fries and onion rings most likely came from a bag. The desserts (I've had a brownie sundae and an apple crisp) were bland, buried beneath too much whipped cream, and topped with vanilla ice cream with a bad aftertaste. I could go to a number of other chain sports places like Chili's, Applebee's, or T.G.I.Friday's and get much better food there. So, yeah. Not the place for me. I'm not the biggest fan of sports bars, but I've had much better places in my area than this. Only go if you are desperate to see a baseball or football game, and you are worried the places you'll go won't have enough television sets.

Been here a few times and each time was great, was recently here for a business lunch of about 20 people and there were no issues. Staff was great food was awesome and we all had a great time.
(5)Tiffany B.
Veggie burger good needs dressing though. Only gave one piece of broccoli for the side. Two for one drinks are great too. Will be back soon.
(3)Eric T.
Our daughter likes the quesadillas here, so we stopped by Saturday for a casual family dinner. The quesadilla did not disappoint, and Duffy's decent sized cheeseburger got a thumbs up as well. Our smiling waitress Jes was enthusiastic about the coconut shrimp, and her recommendation was a good one. The decent-sized shrimp were accompanied by a tasty orange-ginger dipping sauce, fresh cole slaw and a tired and overcooked baked potato. Lots of televisions tuned to sports surround the dining area and bar. Duffy's will probably never make it to the top of the Zagat Restaurant Guide, and no one should expect that. But if you're looking to take in a game or casual meal and have your culinary expectations in check, you should find your visit here to be a satisfying A-OK.
(3)Pam H.
Duffy's Grill - highly disappointing!! I ordered the grilled mahi with broccoli and asparagus. The mahi tasted fishy, so I sent it back and requested chicken instead. The grilled chicken was pounded ultra thin and very dry. Not much improvement there. I also got a side of asparagus and it was not fresh at all and woody. My husband ordered the Caribbean chicken with black beans and rice. His chicken was also pounded ultra thin, he said it was dry but covered in spicy sauce. My husband said we would have been better off ordering burgers and wings at this place. Sorry honey, but we're never coming back!

Bit of a wait when I got there although it appeared more people were leaving then coming in. Good variety on the menu. Affordable. Server was terrible. Absent most of the dinner, inattentive and slow.
(3)Mike G.
Before moving to Boca, friends and I would always go to the Duffys in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter to watch sports, or just enjoy their great drink specials. The service was always great and drinks were stiff. To say the Duffys here in Boca is sub-par would be an understatement. The food is usually pretty good but the service like many others have said is awful. I ordered hot wings with a side of fries. When all of our food was delivered I reminded her about the side order and she simply said "oh". 15 minutes later no fries. She then brings them after we all are done eating and says she forgot to ring it in AGAIN. Meanwhile, my mouth was on fire from the wings and my beer was empty and she was no where to be found. That will be the last time I go to this Duffy's as there are many other good sports bar around this area.

A cheap knockoff wanna be of hooters and all the other similar establishments. I came here from out of town with a cousin who loves this place, for what reason, I will never know. The wait staff and servers are dressed in cheesy uniforms mixed between a cheerleader, hooters girl and referee. Everyone got a burger which was eatable, that's the best compliment I can give of the place. The only plus was cute women, sports memorabilia everywhere along with tv's. It took forever to get our damn food. The place was nearly empty so I have no idea what took so long. Another minor plus was the sweet potato fries. Sorry Duffy's, you tried and failed.
(2)Alexis C.
I rarely complain about servers, because I know they have a hard job, but this was just bad-- our server was totally uninterested and not attentive in the least and literally spent the grand majority of the time chatting with the ladies at the table next to us while my friend waited 20 minutes to get the martini she ordered. When the food finally did come out it tasted like whoever made their fries made them sugar and not salt! They charged me over $5 for a few, unripe avocado slices on my salad. After paying the bill, I felt robbed for paying for mediocre food and ever more mediocre service. Never going back there again.

Was visiting from Missouri on business and met a friend from college I had not seen in 30 years. Nice selection of local beers which were cold and the wings were great. Had the lobster mac and cheese and it was also tasty. Waiter was a nice guy too. Plus (as both me and my friend are originally from Chicago area) we watched the Blackhawks win one of the games of the Stanley Cup final there. Staff was friendly and there were many many TV's. As a side note, I left my credit card there and didn't realize it until the next day at the airport to head home. I called and talked to the manager (Brian and his assistant Ryan) who put the card in the mail and sent it back to me. Thanks guys I really appreciate it!

Duffy's in Boca is consistently excellent. I can't say the same for the one in Aventura. I love Duffy's steak(new york strip) and their baby back ribs are classic. In fact, their sandwiches and everything else is great. The staff is very nice and efficient. I was very disappointed every time I've gone to their Aventura location. It's like night and day. I eat at the one in Boca at least once a week and rarely can I find anything to complain about. The wait staff is very fast and attentive. I'm hungry just thinking about the place.
(4)Allison S.
America is full of sports bars and most of them are minor variations on a formula: 1000 TVs, beer, and burgers. Duffy's chain gets high marks from me because they do things a bit better than most. This location in Boca has a big Washington Redskins contingent, and on game days they have 75-100 people jammed into the back room, singing and screaming - it's great fun. The staff manage to negotiate this demanding brawl with grace and attentiveness. My whistle was kept wet all afternoon. Duffy's food is nothing revolutionary, but it is generally well cooked and presented. Went with the whole family and everyone had a great time.
(4)Howard M.
OMG. The food was HORRIBLE. My brother selected this place is close to his house. Lots of TV's and sports. Nice clean place. The appetizer of chicken wings were wrong. They tried to tell us we were incorrect. Then they brought the main course out Immediately! The shrimp burger was eh at best. My ribs were so so (no basket for empties, no hand wipes). I doubt I will ever patronize this place again.
(1)Ian K.
Duffy's is ok. I was leaning towards a 2* review but i don't think it's that bad. It is a sports bar, and i live my food life through a series of cliches which essentially boil down to when in rome...In duffy's case, you're in a bar, order bar food. At the boca location, this mantra and a cold beer will keep any customer happy. Straying too far away will end up with poorly put together low grade food (tuna burger). Service was a bit slow but we were watching a game. That being said, nachos we'rent great, but they were again, ok. Overall, not a bad place to catch a game and I might go back, problem is, there are many 4/5* sports bars in the area which are nicer, have better food and service.
(3)Peter L.
Compared some Duffys I have been to in West Palm Beach, the service at this one is much better. A waitress took back a organic dry martini my friend ordered, because he hadn't tried it yet (and hated it), with no charge whatsoever. She gave us polite conversation and didn't give us any ill manners. The food was Duffys food, not special but not bad. I ordered the shrimp scampi and I liked it.
(4)JL Q.
First time visit for this location of a popular chain. It actually was our second choice but should've been our first because the experience was so incredible! My dining partners said their lunches were very good. I ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and an onion ring side. The choices for fish prep are grilled, blackened or fried and I ordered grill. It was superb, and the onion rings were great. Our server, Regina, was spot-on, too! I like this location better than some of the other Duffy's I've been to.
(4)Myles T.
I don't know why I keep going back and wasting my time with you people. Just left and now I'm at Ale House, you guys can thank your staff on this one. I walked into the bar side and the server cleaned up the table for me and my father. Yuh think she'd come back and give us menus, nope nothing. After 3 minutes of waiting another server came by and had the audacity to tell us were in the middle of a shift change. That's total BS, you're not running a hospital you're running a bar/restaurant. As I walked out my father and I told your staff at the counter and no one did beans about it. No manager to be found as usual. Don't email me trying to get me back, just save your breath and time.
(1)Diane N.
I live close to this Duffy's, so I go there often. I really like it. I'm not into sports, so I don't go to watch the many televisions. I like the food. I can usually find something on their menu that I enjoy. They have a good choice of food from entrees, to salads, and sandwiches. There's something for everyone. Their soups are very good also. Most of their entrees come with your choice of two side dishes, and for a few dollars more you can add a nice size side salad. There are even a few choices for vegetarians, besides salads. There's a nice size black bean veggie-burger that I've eaten. They also have pasta primavera. The guacamole appetizer is made fresh to order, and is delicious. I don't order desserts, but I've heard they're tasty and large enough to share. Last but not least, the drinks are two for the price of one, all the time. I am happy when I get Pepper for my server. She is awesome.
(4)Joshua M.
I got the nachos which were great and the service was good as well on the outside bar. Took shot of Jack Daniels Honey was tasty and you get BOGO on all beer that i didnt know till the bartender told me. Went a few days before my Birthday and met a couple that was nice enough to buy me a shot. Good vibes.

Compared to every other Duffy's I have been to this one is by far the worst!! First off I work in the restaurant business so my expectations are not too high. But this place just isn't good at all. I went there and had wings and I found a piece of silver wire in them!! Thats disgusting. The Server was not nice at all about it she really acted like she couldn't care less. She Had the manager come over to the table......she was even worse. She had a huge attitude and the way she was talking to me in front of my family was so very rude. Im not sure how she thinks its ok to talk to a paying guest so rudely as if me complaining about my food having a foreign object in it was SUCH a bore and not important to her....... Not to mention all she kept doing was play with her hair as she talked to me over my food!! First and last time I will go to this location
(2)Scott B.
I'll up it to three stars at best. Management contacted me and offered a return trip so I gave it a try. Brought my son for dinner on an early Saturday evening. He gobbled down his chicken tender kids meal. I had the jerk chicken, To me it tasted a bit more like blackened than jerk, but the chicken was moist and not dried out, and I did like the flavor, so take that for what it's worth. It took way too long for our drinks to come out and way too long for the order to be taken. I would caution against the 2 for 1 drink specials. I opted to get a draft beer since it was 2 for 1. I still paid $8. Yes, $8 for a 16oz draft. Seriously, guys?
(3)Melanie R.
Always a fan of Duffy's for decent bar food and a good sports game. So many TVs! They got really crowded for one of the football games and service slipped a bit, but overall it was a good experience. 2 for 1 drinks all day every day - what's not to love?
(4)Dominique H.
Food was good pub fare. Kids meals are fresh and good portions. I had the blackened salmon which was nice. They were out of asparagus and the onion rings were really greasy but the grilled zucchini were really nice. Hubbies nachos were great too. We will be back!
(3)M E.
Kids night , ballon lady, was great. I don't understand the whole 2 4 1 drinks. They are just over priced drinks and make you feel special that you get 2. I ordered the flat bread artichoke and goat cheese. It came with mozzarella huh? I asked why there wasn't goat cheese and the waitress took and back and brought it back to the table with a cold goat cheese spread. Not crumbles. Sigh . Hot mess. My husbands burger was good and sons kids meal was good. One time I ordered the Chinese food entree with rice and chicken. It was so salty I drank like a camel when I got home. I'd give up on duffys but I still have allot of points on mg card lol

I used to love Duffy's when we lived near the one in Deerfield. We probably ate there about 25 times over the years but haven't been there in a couple years. I used to brag that Duffy's had the best wings outside of Buffalo (yes I am from Buffalo originally). They were over-sized and crisp and perfectly flavored. My wife and I just moved near the Duffy's in Boca. We went there Saturday night and this place has really gone down hill. The three things that left a bad taste in our mouths... 1) Duffy's 2 for 1 drinks: I ordered a beer. It came in a small glass and I prefer a pint but no big deal. (That is probably the catch for the 2-1 I thought). I guess it makes sense that they can't be giving away pints. But when I got the bill the beer cost $8.00. I didn't order a beer off the special menu, I just ordered a regular beer. How the heck do they think they can charge $8 for a beer even if it is a 2 for 1? If you double or triple the price of the beer and offer it as a 2 for 1 you are just being gimmicky and ripping off your customers. I was shocked and really annoyed by this. 2) Nachos: Duffy's has the worst nacho's in Florida, hands down. They take about 25 chips and circle them around a plate with a little bit of topping. They can have a B+ for presentation but I don't know anyone who is ordering nachos for the looks. When I order nachos at a restaurant it is because I am hungry and I want a huge plate of chips loaded with toppings. Every restaurant knows this except Duffy's. Worst nachos anywhere actually. 3) Chicken Wings: Their wings used to be really good. The wings I was served were tiny, under cooked and looked like little scraps. I am sure the sauce was fine but who can tell when the chicken meat is so poor in quality and the wings are barely cooked. We left Duffy's and we were still hungry and felt ripped off. The first thing my wife said when we left was, "we'll never go back there again, we could have gone to a much nicer restaurant for what we paid." And that pretty much sums it all up. Duffy's used to be great food at a great value but those days are long gone. There are hundreds of sports bars in South Florida and your money will be better spent somewhere else.

I went there last night with my friend last night. And wanted to order drinks, the server seemed kind of new and unsure when we ordered alcoholic beverages. I had my ID (which is real & never had a problem) and she took it and brought the manager over. He kept talking down to me like I was dumb or something stating that my ID (which is Arizona) was indeed fact. No, it wasn't. When we refused to serve me, she automatically proceeded to take our order, we got up and left and the manager and girl mumbled under their breath a rude comment. Later on, friends of ours stated that manager (who was heavy set) was known as being rude, unprofessional, and a straight up dick. I would go there yes, but i definitely got awesome service and drinks from the Duffy's at Deerfield. GO THERE.

Oh Duffy's.... Service is ok... Not the best but tolerable. Seems like most of the servers at this place are high school seniors or first or second year college students. They don't appear to have much knowledge when in comes to serving guests, which wouldn't be so bad if the food made up for it-- it doesn't. I've been here at least five times and every single time i'm left completely unsatisfied with my meal. It is always tasteless and bland. The last time I came I had a hamburger with french fries. How hard could that be to make, right? My meat patty arrived luke-warm and undercooked, the fries were soggy, and the lettuce and tomato looked like last weeks pick. Not to mention that it took about 55 minutes for my friends and I to get fed. We also had to keep asking our server to refill our drinks because he kept forgetting and we never received the extra napkins that we asked for at least three times. This would be understandable if the place was full, but again, not the case. It was empty! Seriously not worth it, I'd stay away If i could avoid it. Next time i'll just stay on campus and eat at Coyote Jacks!

I will hold strong to my last review, except this time i will mention that my service was pretty bad. I rarely saw my waitress and when i did, she could not have any less enthusiasm about her job, and she was wearing a Dolphins Jersey! which is my team and she was doing nothing but make them look bad (or worse). I had the mahi tacos which were pretty dam good, i must say, but again, the service needs a little help in there...as i have said in previous reviews....If you don't like serving OR if you're exhausted from the "Boca crowd" then find somewhere else to work because there is someone out there who would kill for your job and would probably do it with a great attitude.

What a total disappointment. Pluses - Lot's of TV's - Bar trivia - Buffalo wings weren't bad (which is saying something) Minuses - Let's start with the bad parking before you walk in the door - Lost our reservation - Noise - LOUSY food. From burgers, to fish, to a taco salad shell that had actually been SALTED. Onion rings came from the Ore-ida bag. - Service was average. Maybe that's a highlight after a meal this crappy.

I rarely drink. Much less have a drink at a bar. Even less than that is a drink at a sports bar. My friend was in town and had to catch the Vikings game. My disappointment came after I asked the server for beer options and she poured my beer. This guy walked up for options and was told there was a $3 special beer in the largest mug in the house. I knew I was only going to order one beer and nurse it for the sake of having something in front of my fashion magazine that I was reading at the bar. Would have preferred the cheap beer in the large mug that could last all three hours of the game.

Normally at Duffy's I get the smoked fish dip, which is excellent. However, this particular Duffy's was very much lacking. However, I will give 2 thumbs up for the Dolphin fingers, which I never had before. They were excellent.
